I'd do what I'm suggesting but I'm a follower not a leader. This is the US Optics MST-100 with stabilized reticle which is the improved version over the older Unertl. It is in very good condition and has the USMC Mil-dot reticle. I'd imagine sooner or later someone like Leatherwood will clone the MST 100 as they did the Unertl 8X but the thought of putting a cheap ChiCom build on a super accurate rifle sickens me. These scopes were used on the USMC M40A1, M40A3 and DMR rifles. Much better options for same/less money but nothing can replace them for the intended build. It's old tech, hard to build and only appeals to those building two specific rifle types. I think the last two runs took over a year to complete.but hey what's a wait in these times - I've been looking for W231 for a year plus. It would seem fair that buyers would have to commit with a substantial up front payment and be willing to be patient for the time required to build.
Thing is these can't be easy to make (steel) and it would have to be of a quantity to provide for efficiency in production. Someone should make a post specifically for people to log on and make a firm declaration they are "in" for a MST100 buy.
